Sonya Lee - Treasurer

Sonya Lee currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for more than a dozen companies, including Nouveau Riche Corporation. She also sits on the Board of Directors of numerous companies, such as Nouveau Riche, Nouveau University, and The Real Market Experts®. Ms. Lee grew up in an environment of serving others. As a child, she would accompany her grandmother, Rev. Mabel Lee, on trips to visit the sick in the hospital and in nursing homes. She visited her grandmother often while her grandmother served as a missionary in poorer parts of the country. Ms. Lee also helped her grandmother with her work as the Director of the local City Mission. Mabel Lee won several local awards as Woman of the Year for her work with the City Mission. Seeing, first hand, the positive impact that her grandmother made in others’ lives, Ms. Lee realized at an early age the importance of helping others and hopes to, in some small way, follow in her grandmother’s footsteps. Ms. Lee is working on the development of two key programs for The Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation: the family and teen volunteer opportunity program and the “I Have a Dream” program. In addition to her work with The Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation, Ms. Lee works with local organizations such as Help4Kidz, Help4Teenz, and Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation. Ms. Lee hopes to share and spread the message about the importance of giving back and paying forward one’s blessings. She firmly believes that the difference you make in someone else’s life will always be smaller than the difference it will make in your own.
