The Children’s Museum of Denver
Organization Description: The Children's Museum of Denver offers 11 innovative and interactive Playscapes, educational daily programming and special events all year long for children newborn through age eight.

Annually serving over 250,000 children, the Museum provides rich play experiences and a dynamic learning environment for children to explore and discover.
Volunteer Opportunity: Say Cheese! If you have an interest or knack for photography come volunteer with the Children's Museum of Denver! For one weekend only the Children's Museum is transformed into a photography studio and families can come have their pictures taken by professional photographers.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with lighting, props, greeting clients, making kids laugh, recording photo images, and making this weekend as fun as possible!
This event takes place the weekend of October 4th and 5th and you can choose a morning, afternoon, or all day shift. Not only is this a great way to shadow a professional photographer but this is also a great way to get involved with the community! If you are under the age of 16 and would like to volunteer we would love for you to come! You simply need to bring a parent or guardian along with you.

Trick or Treat Street! Volunteers are needed to make this unique and fun event a huge success! We are seeking more than 500 volunteers to help with jobs such as greeting, checking in guests and members, stroller valet, candy house attendants, arts and crafts facilitators, costume characters, and so much more! Denver Botanic Gardens

Volunteer Opportunity: Volunteers ages 16+ are needed to help with the Chatfield Pumpkin Festival. We are now seeking volunteers for the 20th Annual Pumpkin Festival at Chatfield. This year’s event will feature acres and acres of pumpkins ready to be picked from the pumpkin patch, and two full-filled days of games, rides, crafts, and festivities.

We hope that you will want to join the fun as a Pumpkin Festival volunteer on Saturday October 11th or Sunday October 12th at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield located in Littleton. Little ghosts and goblins from the entire Metro area will come to Chatfield to search for the perfect pumpkin.

Volunteers are needed to assist in a variety of areas including pumpkin measurers, children’s activities assistants, pumpkin daycare assistants, pumpkin patch or entrance cashiers, beverage booth attendants and more!

Morning and afternoon shifts will be available each day. Volunteers will receive free refreshments and lunch and a pumpkin of their choice from the pumpkin patch.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Volunteer Opportunity: The Light the Night Walk is the nation's night to pay tribute and bring hope to people battling cancer. People form in teams of friends and family or co-workers. They raise funds for cancer research and bring help and hope to people battling cancer. On Walk night, they gather in cities and towns across North American. Walking in twilight, they hold illuminated balloons -white for survivors, red for supporters, and gold in memory of a life lost. More than a walk, the evening is a supportive community gathering that includes music, food, and family activities.
